Spring in the Desert







The contrasts and contradictions that are the desert are plainly evident when the desert has a rainy wet Spring like we had in 2010. We got 5.25 inches at "The Shack" and the flowers are just beginning.

    Those are some gorgeous, gorgeous blooms and incredible pictures. I love that Payson snuck in the last one :) I can't wait to smell that desert!

    I love spring!
    But what I want to know is... How come penstemon will grow in the desert, but get eaten in my yard?
